This post highlights a 10-year journey of hard work and initiatives to create the best schooling experience possible — and here’s a glimpse of what we’ve accomplished.
To grasp what I mean by “Education for Life” and how this philosophy was born, do read my earlier post. In essence, the goal is simple yet profound: to offer every child a truly holistic education — one that nurtures academic, technological, cultural, social, physical, and emotional growth.
Today, the Basavaraddi legacy proudly runs three comprehensive schools in Dharwad:

The impact has been remarkable — many of our students clear the Navodaya entrance exam without coaching. Learning is further enriched through our specialized labs and experiential learning. For Grades 6–10, we follow NCERT Books for Science and Math, ensuring conceptual clarity and national-level standards.

4. Building Confidence Through Co-Curriculars
Every year, dozens of our students from Basavaraddi Schools qualify for Cluster, Taluk, and State-level competitions in Prathibha Karanji — an inter-school co-curricular contest.
At the school level, students participate in weekly CCA competitions, starting with house-level rounds and progressing to the school-level finals. This structured approach encourages positive rivalry, teamwork, and consistent skill development.
5. Passion-Based Learning
Basavaraddi Schools offer six hobby classes: Karate, Classical Dance, Classical Music, Physical Fitness, Coding, and Abacus. Students can select according to their interests and cultivate a true passion. All classes are conducted by external faculty who are renowned experts in their fields.
6. Logical Aptitude Training
The key for excelling in competitive exams is strong aptitude. At Basavaraddi, students are rigorously trained to develop reasoning and quick-thinking skills, enabling them to succeed in Olympiads and other competitive exams. 7. Genius Batch
Advanced topics in finance and entrepreneurship can be complex for most students. To bridge this gap, a select group is chosen for the Genius Batch, where they explore advanced concepts in finance and business management.

Every class starts with a short Brahmari exercise to help students enter a receptive state. Students are taught slokas and vachanas every morning, and all major festivals are celebrated with teachers and peers. This ensures every child stays rooted in culture and tradition.
